The "How to Make Friends in Space" book series follows the adventures of Leo, a little boy born and raised on a spaceship named Prudence.

Prudence is a unique ship that has its own mysteries, inlcuding an entire forest that Leo's dad uses to grow food. The forest also provides them with the air that they need to survive in space.

They explore space with an assortment of service 'bots. Problem is... he is the only little boy on the ship, making it a very lonely journey.

He has to cope with many personal issues such as loss, loneliness and fear. But he is not as alone as he might have thought after befriending a little worker 'bot he names Tony.

And so begins their adventures in space!
